request information

PA173

Pipehorn Pulsar Beacons are self-contained transmitters which can be blown, pulled, floated, or inserted into non-metallic (clay, plastic, concrete, etc.) pipe and duct.  Pinpoint the location at greater depths because of the High-frequency.  Although lower in power than a standard Pipehorn transmitter, the Pulsar Beacon can be placed right next to conductors in small, hard to get to places, helping to isolate and identify lines inductively.

Overall dimensions of the beacon are 6.3 in. by 1 in. diameter. Body of beacon is 4.8 inches.

The rugged, slim design of these beacons makes them suitable for many applications.  The beacons pass through 90° bends in sanitary sewers and can withstand normal water pressures, if properly secured.  It is easy to pinpoint blockages in duct runs.
